Messi leads Barcelona squad ahead of home game against Osasuna as Busquets makes return from injury

Barcelona return to action in the La Liga this weekend as they host Osasuna at the Camp Nou on Sunday evening.

It hasn't been a convincing so far as they are placed in 13th position on the league standing.

Barcelona have recorded three loses in the season after match day nine, haven lost the first leg of the El Clasico against Real Madrid. 

Last weekend, Atletico Madrid handed Ronaldo Koeman side their third defeat after Yannick Carrasco scored the only goal from an error from goalkeeper Marc Ter Stegen in the first half. 

During the game, Barcelona also lost Gerard Pique and Sergio Roberto to injuries as they were substituted in the game.

Both players are expected to be out for at least 2-4 months on the sidelines.

Ahead of the game against Osasuna on Sunday, Barcelona welcome back Sergio Busquets who has been injured while he was on international duty with Spain. 

Samuel Umtiti who recently returned from training after a long time on the injury list. But he hasn't been deemed match fit as he continues he recovery.

Captain Lionel Messi is back in the squad after he was rested for Barcelona mid week Champions League clash against Dynamo Kiev. 

If you recall that the manager revealed he decided to rest the Argentine due to fatigue concerns. 

Messi is expected to lead the attack along side Braithwaite who scored twice in the Champions League.
