Kieran Tierney has reportedly signed five years contract extension which will see him play for the Gunners until 2026.
Recall that the full back completed his dream move to Arsenal from Celtic in the summer of 2019. The Scotland defender joined for a fee of £25m.
Tierney has made 62 appearances for the club so far and he played a major role in Arsenal's FA Cup triumph in 2019-20.
The Scotland international represented his national team in the European Championship, although they have been eliminated after they finished bottom of their group.
Tierney announced his contract extension during a live chat on Arsenal's Facebook page saying: "I'd just like to thank you all for your support, as always. Can't wait to get started next year."
Arsenal manager, Mikel Arteta has also expressed his delight after Tierney committed his future to the club.
Arteta said: “This is great news for us today. As manager of the club, speaking on behalf of the coaching staff and the entire staff, it’s a pleasure to work with KT. His quality, energy, commitment and professionalism, not only on matchdays, but every day in training are always at such a high level."
It's also been gathered that Arsenal have agreed £50m bid for Brighton defender Ben White as they hope to improve their defense ahead of the 2021-2022 season.
💬 "I'd just like to thank you all for your support, as always. Can't wait to get started next year."
