Newcastle vs Tottenham Hotspur game was paused after a fan slumped (Photos)

Newcastle vs. Tottenham was paused due to a medical emergency in the crowd.

Tottenham Hotspur were in a 2-1 lead when Sergio Reguilon was one of the players to alert the referee, while Dier ran to the side of the pitch and called for a defibrillator to be taken to the East Stand.

Meanwhile the game was paused for minutes while the player was taken to the hospital. Newcastle later confirmed that the fan is in stable condition. 

The player came back to complete their seven minutes additional time which saw Heung Mi Son add the third goal. 

Recall that Callum Wilson put Newcastle in the lead early in the game but Tottenham equalised before Harry Kane and Heung Mi Son scored to make it 3-1 at half time.
