The Portugese boss has been sacked following Spurs 3-0 defeat to Manchester United at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in Sunday.
Recall that Nuno was appointed permanent successor to Jose Mourinho in June in an initial two-year contract with the north London club.
The defeat to Ole Gunnar Solskjaer men leaves Spurs 10 points adrift of Premier League leaders Chelsea after 10 games.
If you recall Nuno Espirito Santo took charge of just 17 games, recording nine wins, one draw and seven losses against Crystal Palace, Chelsea, Arsenal and West Ham and Manchester United.
The official statement from Tottenham Hotspur reads:
"The Club can today announce that Nuno EspÃrito Santo and his coaching staff Ian Cathro, Rui Barbosa and Antonio Dias have been relieved of their duties.
Fabio Paratici, Managing Director, Football, said: "I know how much Nuno and his coaching staff wanted to succeed and I regret that we have had to take this decision.
“Nuno is a true gentleman and will always be welcome here. We should like to thank him and his coaching staff and wish them well for the future.”
A further coaching update will follow in due course."
If you recall Nuno Espirito Santo left his role as Wolverhampton manager last season to take over at Tottenham Hotspur this season. Meanwhile, former Inter Milan manager, Antonio Conte has been suggested to replace Nuno as Spurs boss.
