Premier League: Danny Welbeck stoppage-time header cancels Lukaku opener as Brighton held Chelsea to 1-1 draw (Highlights) 2021-2022

Chelsea were held to score draw against Brighton Hove Albion at the Stamford Bridge on Wednesday night.

Welbeck comes off the bench to snatch a late point in a 1-1 draw with Chelsea whose injury list rises after Recce James and Christensen were forced off. 

Azpilicueta hit the post with a deflected shot early in the first half before Lukaku headed the Blues ahead, but Brighton came to life after that. 

Chelsea goalkeeper Mendy made some good saves to keep out Lallana, Mac Allister and Bissouma, with Moder also skimming the crossbar with a chance just after the break. 

Brighton kept pushing though and Welbeck's stoppage-time header secured the draw for the Seagulls.
