Buhari Departs Nigeria For The Gambia To Attend Adama Barrow Inauguration

President Muhammadu Buhari has departed Abuja for Banjul, Republic of The Gambia. 

It's been gathered that Buhari is set to attend the inauguration of Gambian President, Adama Barrow, following his re-election for a second term.

Garba Shehu, the Senior Special Assistant to the President on Media and Publicity, announced this in a statement issued on Tuesday.

He said the President will be accompanied by the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Mr Geoffrey Onyeama; National Security Adviser, Maj-Gen Babagana Monguno (retd.); Director-General, National Intelligence Agency, Ambassador Ahmed Rufai, and other top government officials.
