Everton have sacked Rafa Benitez as manager

Everton have officially sacked Rafa Benitez. This comes after yesterday emergency meeting when the Toffees lost 2-1 against struggling Norwich City at Carrow Road.

Everton Football Club can confirm the departure of Rafael Benitez as First Team manager.

If you recall that Benitez was appointed this season after he replaced Carlo Ancelotti who left to managed Real Madrid in Spain.

According to an official statement from Everton which reads: "Benitez, who joined Everton in June 2021, has left the Club with immediate effect.

"An update on a permanent replacement will be made in due course."

Everton are currently in 16 position in the Premier League table, losing 10, drew 4 and won 5 games so far.
