"Dembélé has to sign a new contract or we find a way to sell him in January. No other way” - Xavi reveals

Xavi Hernandez has provided on the future of Ousmane Dembélé. It's been gathered that the French international could leave Barcelona in January window. 

Dembélé is currently in his final stages of his Barcelona's contract and they player is yet to extend his deal. 

It's understood that Barcelona board want Dembélé to decide his future before the close of the window this month. 

The Spaniard has admitted that the French winger will be sold this month should not sign a new deal

Xavi said: “We can’t wait for Ousmane. Or renews the contract or a solution to sell him must be found immediately.

“I don’t consider sending him to stands. He says he wants to stay but then he doesn’t sign”.

Xavi added: “The message is clear. Ousmane Dembélé has to sign a new contract or we find a way to sell him in January. No other way”. 

“I also wonder about agent is talking the way he is and Dembélé, on the other hand, telling me he wants to stay. I can’t understand”.
