The Argentine was only to play five games for Barcelona after he joined from Manchester City on a free transfer.
Taking to his social media space, he shared snap of himself spotting designer outfits as he posed beside the pool.
In another image, he was seen sitting on the dinner table surrounded by his partner and extended family members who joined to celebrate the New year with him.
