Aston Villa full-back Matty Cash displayed a message to his international teammate and was booked during their weekend game.
Cash displayed a message to his friend and team mate, Tomasz Kedziora after he scored the opening goal in Aston Villa's 2-0 win over Brighton on Saturday.
After scoring for Steven Gerrard side, Cash removed his shirt to display the message: “Tomasz Kedziora + family, stay strong my bro.”
However, as per Premier League rules, he was controversially booked by referee John Brookes for removing his shirt to display the message.
