Real Madrid goalkeeper has revealed the secret behind his Messi penalty save on Tuesday night.
Thibaut Courtois stopped Paris Saint-Germain star, Lionel Messi from scoring from the penalty spot.
PSG would have grabbed their first goal after Messi was given the chance to score from the spot after the Frenchman was hauled down inside the box by Dani Carvajal.
The former Barcelona star missed after Courtois dived to the left side. According to him, he studied Messi recent penalties and observed he missed a few he took to the right and scored many he took to the left.
'Obviously he shoots a lot of penalties in a season so it's hard to guess right,' Courtois told BT Sport. 'But he missed a few ones on this side [the right] so I think it was obvious he was going to the left.
