Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang scored twice as Barcelona thrashed Valencia 4-1. The former Arsenal captain found the back of the net for the first time in the La Liga

Aubameyang put Xavi Hernandez side in front from a lovely long ball over the top from Alba, and Aubameyang times his run perfectly in behind Alderete to stay onside. He takes it into the box before firing his shot over Mamardashvili and into the top corner of the net.
If you recall that Aubameyang completed two years deal with Barcelona on a free transfer from Arsenal this January transfer window. The striker was stripped off his captaincy due to disciplinary issue and agreed to cancel his contract, despite having one year left on the deal.

The former Borussia Dortmund star got his brace with a simpler finish than his first goal, but he was in the right place to slot this one home. Dembele plays a one-two with Dest before sliding it through to Gavi and he curls it into the six-yard box. Aubameyang is completely unmarked and he's left with a simple tap-in.

Meanwhile, he was pictured embracing Barcelona youngster Gavi shortly after his signature back flip goal celebration.

Valencia pulled one back from Soler with a diving header, but Frenkie De Jong and Pedri's brilliant swerving strike wrapped it up for the visitors
