Chelsea's Ben Chilwell spotted kicking the ball for the first time as he continues to recover from knee injury

25 years old English footballer has taken to his social media space to share update on his recovery. 

It's been gathered that Ben Chilwell has been out of the Chelsea squad since last year.

The 25-year-old had knee surgery at the end of 2021 following an achilles injury picked up against Juventus last year. 

Ben Chilwell is hopeful to re-join Chelsea first-team training before the end of the season.

Chilwell has been spotted doing individual work on the grass at Cobham. The former Leicester City star shared snap of himself with the caption, "loading".
