Arsenal have confirmed their new captain ahead of the forthcoming 2022-23 season.
Martin Odegaard has been announced the captain of Arsenal football club.
The 23-year-old has been seen wearing the captain armband during their pre season games.
The Norway international led the team out of the dug out during their Emirates Cup clash with Sevilla on Saturday.
Recall that Odegaard signed for Arsenal in 2011 on loan from Real Madrid.
Mikel Arteta moved for the deal to be permanent at the end of the season, with the creative midfielder making 60 appearances, scoring nine goals.
