"Working in progress" - Cristiano Ronaldo returns to Man Utd training despite uncertain future at Old Trafford

37 years old Portugal star has finally returned to training.

Cristiano Ronaldo was pictured in training at the Carrington training center on Saturday July 30th.

If you recall that the Portuguese international returned to the United Kingdom this week after his extended vacation.

Ronaldo missed Manchester United pre-season tour after he was excused for personal reasons.

It's been speculated that Ronaldo wants exit from Manchester United as he wants to play in the Champions League which United didn't qualify for after their seventh place finish last season.

Ronaldo posed with several Manchester United youngsters after their training session this afternoon.

The 37-year-old didn't travel with the team to Olso, Norway for their double header friendly against Atletico Madrid and Real Vallecano.

Ronaldo is expected to join the rest of squad to feature for the friendly game against Vallecano.

Sharing the post on his social media space platform, he captioned: "Working in progress".

Meanwhile Manchester United lost 1-0 to Atletico Madrid in the friendly game early this Saturday afternoon.
