Man Utd new signing Antony head butts Darwin Nunez during UEFA Champions League clash while playing for Ajax against Benfica

Manchester United are close to completing their summer deal for the 22 years old Brazilian.

It's been gathered that the Red Devils have agreed a transfer fee in region of €90m with Ajax plus €10m add-ons for the signature of Antony.

The winger will pen a contract that will last until 2027 with Manchester United, after he completed his medical this afternoon. 

Antony will reunite his rivalry with Liverpool's Darwin Nunez in the Premier League.

If you recall that the two were once involved in a heat confrontation in a football match which left Antony head butting the Uruguay international. 

Antony clashed with Liverpool's new striker Darwin Nunez in a Champions League last-16 first leg tie between Benfica and Ajax.  

Antony thrust his head towards Nunez, prompting the Uruguayan to theatrically fall to the floor. Although, the 22-year-old wa lucky not be sent off in the game.

The 22-year-old has scored 25 goals and provided 22 assists in 82 appearances for Ajax since joining the Dutch side from Sao Paulo in 2020.
