Gonzalo Higuain enjoyed an illustrious career with Argentina from 2009 until 2014. He made 75 senior appearances for Argentina, scoring 31 goals.
Higuain played his final international game for Argentina in their 2–1 win over Nigeria on 26 June 2018, in Russia World Cup, at the Krestovsky Stadium, Saint Petersburg.
