"Well done, lads! And a very special thank you to our supporters! Let’s go, Devils!" - Cristiano Ronaldo sends message to fans after Man Utd win over Arsenal

Cristiano Ronaldo has taken to his social media platform to express his thoughts about Manchester United victory over Arsenal.

The Red Devils ended Mikel Arteta side winning streak in the Premier League at the Old Trafford stadium on Sunday evening.

Manchester United were hoping for their third successive win on the bounce while Arsenal aimed for their sixth as they sit in top of the Premier League table.

But Antony Santos who joined United this summer for 100m pounds scored the opening goal on his debut.

Arsenal pulled back the equaliser from Bukayo Saka before Marcus Rashford scored twice to extend United's advantage.

Ronaldo replaced Antony around the one-hour mark, was on the pitch when Rashford scored both his goals.

The 37-year-old is yet to start a Premier League game for United this season under Erik Den Hag.

Although, Ronaldo who future was up in the air during the transfer window was frustrated to have not got on the scoresheet himself during the game.

Taking to his social media space, He also expressed his gratitude towards the home fans on Sunday.
