Sensational Nigerian singer Kizz Daniel has finally revealed the reason he titled his new single, "Odo."

Kizz Daniel has received positive reactions since he released a new single, "cough" which has followed his smashing single "BUGA".

The singer's new single has become a national anthem across the country, which has made him reveal the inspiration behind it.

Oluwatobiloba Daniel Anidugbe, best known by his stage name Kizz Daniel, revealed why he chose the word “odo” for his most popular song.

He added that he chose the Twi word “Odo,” which means “love,” since he had noticed how much his last track, “Buga,” had won over Ghanaian fans.

“Of all the African nations, Ghana saw Buga remain at No. 1 for the longest. So I was like, “Big love to Ghana,” said Kizz Daniel. 

He added that "Odo", a Language of Ghanaians has become popular in the West African region because they could relate to it. 


"Millions of Ghanaians streamed the song, which has 91 million views on YouTube, and it received a ton of exposure there, he added.
