Aymeric Laporte suffered a nasty head injury during Manchester City Premier League clash with Brentford.
The Citizens hosted the Bees at the Etihad Stadium on Saturday, November 12th afternoon.
The Spanish international was seen lying on the flood with his face covered with blood just eight days before the World Cup starts.
Recall that during the week Luis Enrique announced his 26 man World Cup squad.
Laporte was named in Spain's squad for the World Cup which starts in eight days and Enrique would be worried about Aymeric Laporte fitness.
Meanwhile Referee Peter Bankes stopped the game, in order to allow 28-year-old, undergo treatment.
Laporte head was seen bandaged after he attended to by the Manchester City physio.
Manchester City suffered 2-1 defeat to Brentford after Ivan Toney scored in each half of the game.
The England international wasn't selected for the Three Lions World Cup squad but he put Bees in the lead after 15 minutes.
But Phil Foden equalised for City just before half-time whistle.
