Piers Morgan dig up Gary Neville's old tweets attacking those criticising Cristiano Ronaldo

Piers Morgan has taken to his social media space to dig up an old post of Gary Neville showing his support for Cristiano Ronaldo.

The Portuguese international has been under the spotlight since the past few days following his bombshell interview with media personality Piers Morgan. 

Cristiano Ronaldo who is 37-year-old, came out in the interview to criticize the club. According to him, Manchester United are behind their rival teams as they have struggled to adapt to the new technology. 

Ronaldo has received criticism from his ex team mate Gary Neville for his one-on-one interview with Piers Morgan. 

However, the Journalist who interviewed Cristiano Ronaldo, Piers Morgan has reacted to Gary Neville's old tweet. 

Reacting to Gary Neville's old tweet, Piers Morgan tweeted: "To all those attacking @Cristiano for speaking out and telling the truth... He's only doing what United Legends were calling for him to do..."

Meanwhile, the former Juventus and Real Madrid star is currently representing Portugal national team at the 2022 World Cup.

Although Ronaldo could start in Portugal warm up friendly game against Nigeria this Thursday evening.
