Whatsapp introduces picture tags in group chats. Check out step by step detail

Whatsapp, a meta-related instant messaging app, has added a picture-tag feature that lets users see previews of other group members' photos.

A few WhatsApp clients on Thursday morning saw the new gathering visit include, yet to be seen by a lot of people.

Ripples Nigeria was shown a screenshot of the new feature, which places an image near users' comments in the chat stream.

Some users claim that the image, which is a preview of the user's displayed picture, is out of range, with one Twitter user describing it as trash and irritating.

By simply clicking on the picture tag that is displayed alongside the member's comment, users of the new feature can directly access the profile of other members of the group.

At the WhatsApp Business Summit in Sao Paulo, Meta's CEO, Mark Zuckerberg, unveiled search and directory options that enable users to connect with a brand and make in-app purchases. This new development comes shortly after.

However, Reportminds Blog discovered that some users, particularly Android users, do not have access to the brand-new in-group display picture feature.
