Benoit Badiashile Trains With Chelsea Squad Despite His Exclusion From Champions League Squad

Prior to their trip to Germany, Chelsea players started practicing for the UEFA Champions League on Monday at the Cobham training facility.

Despite not being selected for the UEFA Champions League squad, Benoit Badiashile was seen during the Cobham training session.

According to the Reportminds blog, Chelsea's UEFA Champions League roster did not include a Frenchman.

Just three players had to be registered for Chelsea's UEFA Champions League team. Joao Felix, Mykhaylo Mudryk, and Enzo Fernandez were all selected by Graham Potter for the team.

Despite being a significant addition to Chelsea's starting lineup in the Premier League, Benoit Badiashile wasn't included.

The defensive play of Thiago Silva and Benoit Badiashile for Chelsea has been excellent. In their matches against Crystal Palace, Liverpool, Fulham, and West Ham United, Thiago Silva and Benoit Badiashile collaborated. In their four Premier League games together, they were successful in maintaining three clean sheets.

If you remember will recall that Chelsea completed the £30 million transfer of the French defender from Monaco in January.
