Joao Cancelo will make his Bayern Munich debut on Wednesday night, having completed his transfer from Manchester City on the day of the deadline.
Cancelo joined the German giants on an initial loan with a £61 million buy option at the conclusion of the season after a disagreement with City manager Pep Guardiola.
Cancelo wanted to leave City after a heated argument with City manager Pep Guardiola on the training field, according to Reportminds Blog.
After Cancelo was left out of Manchester City's FA Cup win over Arsenal in the fourth round on Friday, the argument started. At the Etihad, Cancelo had fallen down the hierarchy despite having a stellar season last year.
The full-back is thought to have become disruptive in the Premier League champions' dressing room after expressing his displeasure with Guardiola's lack of game time in recent weeks.
Additionally, the Portuguese defender played left back for the team coached by Julian Nagelsmann in Bayern's German Cup semifinal matchup with Mainz.
