FIFA Awards: Lionel Messi has stylishly replied Karim Benzema with a cheeky post

Fans have been led to believe that Lionel Messi has responded to Karim Benzema's posts as a result of his recent actions on Instagram.

At the Best FIFA Awards in Paris on Monday, Argentina and Paris Saint-Germain superstar Messi won the award for best male player of the year.

Prior to PSG teammate Kylian Mbappe and Real Madrid's Benzema, the 35-year-old emerged victorious.

Benzema has been busy on social media since the awards show ended, posting a series of cryptic posts that many people believe are meant to express his disappointment at not winning the prize.

In the beginning, the Frenchman uploaded a video of a man saying, "Liar, yes, you liar."

The Real Madrid striker then posted a list of his accomplishments this year, including all of the awards and individual honors he had received, with the caption: “good night.”

However, after Messi posted two pictures of himself holding the World Cup trophy on his Instagram story, fans now believe that he has responded.
