The Frenchman's contract is about to expire, but it seems the Blues don't want him to leave Stamford Bridge.
According to reports, N'Golo Kante's contract negotiations with Chelsea are in their "final stages," and the French midfielder is anticipated to commit his future to the team.
Due to the 31-year-contract old's expiration at the conclusion of the current campaign, prominent European teams like Barcelona and Paris Saint-Germain are reportedly interested in signing him.
According to Fabrizio Romano, the negotiations are now in their "final stages" and the remaining issues need to be settled.
The midfielder is also eager to stay in west London, according to Romano, who claimed that Kante's positive feelings toward Chelsea are a key factor in the negotiations.

Kante is anticipated to agree to a two-year contract with Chelsea until 2025, with an option for an additional year.
Since joining Chelsea from Leicester for £32 million in 2016, the 31-year-old has been an essential member of the first squad, helping the Blues win the Premier League and the Champions League during his seven-year stay at Stamford Bridge.
Despite Kante being out since Chelsea's match against Tottenham in the second game of the season back in August, negotiations have continued.
Kante was forced to withdraw from the World Cup with France after sustaining a significant hamstring injury during the game.
The defensive midfielder joined the team for the encounter against Everton last Saturday after beginning training again earlier this month.
In a weekday encounter played behind closed doors, Kante's long-term injury recuperation has advanced.
The return of the former Leicester City midfielder will help Chelsea, who are presently ranked 10th in the Premier League.
After the break for international play, the Blues will take on Aston Villa on April 1.
The Blues will face Wolves and Liverpool before the opening leg of their quarterfinal Champions League match against Real Madrid.
