Kylian Mbappe thanks Lionel Messi for his contribution for him as he won Ligue 1 Player of the season

Following the Frenchman's win for Ligue 1 Player of the Year, superstar Kylian Mbappe of Paris Saint-Germain sent a message to teammate Lionel Messi.

The French forward thanked Lionel Messi for his assistance in helping him win the prize for the 2022–23 campaign.

Mbappe has been PSG's star performer this season, propelling them to the championship. This season, the Frenchman played in 33 Ligue 1 games and contributed to 28 goals and six assists.

On the list of top scorers, Mbappe is presently one goal ahead of Lyon's Alexandre Lacazette.

The PSG player thanked Messi personally for his role in the team's success this year. 

Mbappe said during his winning speech, “Of course, I thank Leo [Messi], who has helped me a lot along with all the players.”
