Liverpool vs Tottenham: Diogo Jota escapes red card for kicking Oliver Skipp (Photos)

Oliver Skipp was kicked in the head by Diogo Jota, who was not sent off, and later scored the game-winning goal.

In the 81st minute, with the score at 3-2, the incident left Tottenham player Skipp bleeding.

Jota's boot struck Skipp just above the eye when it was at head height.

Before the Spurs star was taken off to receive further examination, medical staff attended to him for a period of time.

The Portugal international was booked, but the decision was never even reviewed by VAR. 

Only a minute had passed since Richarlison's dramatic late equalizer when Jota went on to score the winning goal against Tottenham.
