Lionel Messi’s return to Barcelona is over as 35-year-old has agreed to join MLS side, Inter Miami

Lionel Messi is about to sign a contract to join Inter Miami in the Major League Soccer.

After his two-year contract with PSG expired at the conclusion of the just completed season, the 35-year-old has already departed the club. 

Messi was close to moving back to Barcelona, but it seems that the Blaugrana were unable to finalize the transfer owing to their current financial condition.

In contrast, Saudi Arabia Club Al Ittihad was considering signing the Argentine player. 

However, according to Fabrizio Romano, MLS side Inter Miami seems to have won the contract for Lionel Messi. 

According to well-known sports writer Fabrizio Romano, the contract will be announced soon by the club in America.
