Manchester City defeated Italian giants Inter Milan 1-0 to win their first European championship.

The one goal scored by Rodrigo was sufficient to give Guardiola's team their well-earned treble.

Inter Milan failed to win their fourth championship as they squandered many opportunities to score an equalizer that would have given City their long-awaited victory.

Pep Guardiola's team became the first English club to win the triple since Sir Alex Ferguson's Manchester United in 1999.

Rodrigo's close-range strike from the outside of the box after a wonderful feed from Bernado Silva gave Man City the lead in the 67th minute.

In the last seconds of the game, Inter Milan attempted to score an equalizer, but their attempts were unsuccessful. Romelu Lukaku, a striker, got many scoring opportunities but was unable to take advantage of them.
