Arsene Wenger has a bronze monument dedicated to him outside Emirates Stadium, which was inaugurated by Arsenal.
During his rule from 1996 to 2018, he assisted the Gunners in winning three Premier League championships and seven FA Cups.
In the 3.5-meter-tall statue outside the North Bank Stand, the Frenchman is holding the Premier League championship trophy.
On Wednesday, the 73-year-old will be a special guest during an exhibition match between Arsenal and Monaco, another of his former teams.
Since Wenger, who now works for Fifa, is so closely associated with Arsenal's recent history, Mikel Arteta's second-place finish and championship race last season stand as the club's finest Premier League campaign without Wenger as manager.
He oversaw 1,235 games for Arsenal, most notably the lone undefeated Premier League season that helped Arsenal win the 2003–04 championship.
He led them 20 years in a row into the Champions League. Since the 1991–1992 European Cup, they will compete in the tournament for the first time without Wenger as manager the following season.
