Kieran Tierney shares what Declan Rice has told him about Arsenal

Declan Rice informed Kieran Tierney that he had adapted to life at Arsenal quite fast, according to Tierney.

Tierney told The Athletic what Rice told him about his first thoughts on Arsenal during a conversation they had last week.

This month, Rice finally made his long-awaited transfer to North London after Arsenal and West Ham finally reached an agreement on a £105 million contract.

This summer, the 24-year-old played in two preseason games, and Mikel Arteta easily incorporated the England star into his team.

Rice has admitted to Tierney that despite just joining the Gunners a little over a week ago, he already feels at home there.

“Declan actually said the other day he feels like he’s been here for so long,” Tierney told The Athletic.

“It’s such a close group, great team-mates, great staff so I think they’re all loving it (the new players). We’ve had a few songs. Declan gave us Ice, Ice Baby as he always does.

“They’ve integrated really well and we’ve done team activities together. It’s been just what the new boys needed.”
