Chelsea have completed signing of teenage midfielder Lesley Ugochukwu from Rennes

This summer, Lesley Ugochukwu will transfer to Chelsea from Rennes.

Lesley Ugochukwu, a 17-year-old French midfielder, has been acquired by Chelsea for £23.5 million.

The 19-year-old signs a seven-year contract with a further one-year option, and moves to Stamford Bridge.

Ugochukwu played 67 senior games for Rennes, having placed fourth in Ligue 1 last year and qualified for the Europa League. He is primarily a defensive midfielder.

In Chelsea's final preseason matchup against Borussia Dortmund, he might be in line to appear.
