The mother of Luis Rubiales, head of the Spanish Football Federation, has been released from the hospital.
After locking herself in a church on Monday and embarking on a hunger strike to protest the way her kid was treated, Angeles Bejar was finally allowed to stay on Wednesday.
After Spain's victory in the World Cup final, Rubiales was sharply criticized for kissing Jenni Hermoso on the lips.
Hermoso said that the kiss that occurred at the award ceremony in Sydney on August 20 was not consenting.
Bejar told Spanish news agency EFE that the strike will go on "indefinitely, day and night" as he entered the Divina Pastora church in Motril on Spain's southern coast.
Father Antonio, a local priest who went by the name of Bejar, told the news agency Reuters that she had been transferred to a hospital in Motril, where her kid was nurtured, on Wednesday.
