Ferran Torres becomes the first Barcelona player since Messi to score a freekick

Ferran Torres scored Barcelona's first straight free kick since Lionel Messi scored against Valencia in May 2021.

The Spanish international scored one goal in Barcelona's win against Real Betis. 

In their Saturday evening La Liga match, Barcelona destroyed Betis 5-0. 

Barcelona took the lead thanks to Joao Felix, who then set up Robert Lewandowski for their second goal. 

In the second half, Barcelona extends their lead with a third goal from a straight free kick by Ferran Torres. 

Raphinha and ex-Manchester City defender Joao Cancelo both scored.
