Al Ittihad players refused to play against Sepahan in Asian Champions League because of one reason

Al-Ittihad refused to compete tonight against Iranian club Sepahan due to the installation of a monument of Qassem Soleimani on the field.

A monument of Iranian commander Qasem Soleimani was on the field, therefore Al-Ittihad declined to participate in their AFC Champions League match against Sepahan on Monday.

The Saudi Federation then instructed Al-Ittihad and Al-Hilal to leave Iran and return to Saudi Arabia.
