Lionel Messi and his wife Anontela Roccuzzo are enjoying some much-needed break by unwinding in Florida.

Following the conclusion of the MLS season with Inter Miami, the 36-year-old football player has been enjoying time with his family.

Ahead of a great week in which he is anticipated to win the Ballon d'Or in Paris on Monday and be named the best soccer player of the year for the eighth time in his career, Messi, 36, was seen having fun with Antonela in Naples, Florida.

An ardent admirer snapped a photo of him basking in the Miami sunlight, but it wasn't just a family trip.

One of the photos showed Yassine Chueko, Messi's former Navy SEAL bodyguard, sitting close to Messi and Antonela while keeping an eye out for anybody who may be a security danger.
