Harry Kane Takes Top Spot in Bundesliga Goal Scorer Rankings with a Brace Against Heidenheim

Harry Kane maintained his remarkable goal-scoring prowess in Germany by scoring two goals on Saturday. 

The former Tottenham star played a crucial role as Bayern Munich secured a 4-2 victory against Heidenheim. Striking twice in the first half, the England and Bayern striker asserted control for the hosts over an opponent striving to remain in the German top-flight this season.

Under the guidance of Thomas Tuchel, Bayern Munich now leads the Bundesliga standings, holding a one-point advantage over their competitors. Notably, both Bayern Munich and Bayer Leverkusen stand as the only two unbeaten teams in the league.

Kane's impressive two-goal performance on Saturday ensures he maintains his position at the summit of the current Bundesliga goalscorer table. 

However, Stuttgart forward Serhou Guirassy trails closely with a mere two-goal difference. 

Meanwhile, Kane's recent achievements bring his total to 17 league goals for his debut season in the division. 

The England captain has settled well into the Germany style of football and showcasing his stellar form since his £100 million summer transfer from Tottenham.

It has been revealed that Kane has surpassed the top-scoring charts of the Bundesliga from the previous season, where Niclas Fullkrug totaled 16 goals.
