One of the most talked-about young football players in Europe right now is Jude Bellingham.
Given 13 goals in 13 appearances, the 20-year-old seemed to be enjoying a fantastic season at Real Madrid.
As you may remember, at the beginning of the season, the Los Blancos signed Jude Bellingham from Borussia Dortmund.
The English international has become the Real Madrid team's talisman under Carlo Ancelotti.
In an interview, he described how Zinedine Zidane was introduced to him by his father.
Jude Bellingham claimed to have learned about the renowned French football player from watching YouTube videos of him.
“My father had a fake Zidane jersey he brought at the beach. He wore it everywhere, often at home. One day I asked, “By the way, who is this guy?”
He said, “Go to YouTube and take a look.”
Jude Bellingham chose shirt number five at Real Madrid because he wanted to be like Zidane ever since.
Jude Bellingham was declared the 2023 Kopa Award winner at the Ballon d'Or just on Monday.
He added, "Since then, I probably haven't stopped. Zidane represented the player I wanted to be.”
