Enzo Fernandez's Double, Colwill's Strike Propel 10-Man Chelsea to Victory
In a remarkable turnaround from their recent 4-1 loss to Newcastle, Chelsea emerged triumphant with a 3-2 win over Brighton on Sunday, courtesy of Enzo Fernandez's stellar performance.
Fernandez opened the scoring within 20 minutes, connecting with a Benoit Badiashile cross to give Chelsea a 1-0 lead. Shortly thereafter, Levi Colwill doubled the advantage with a well-timed header.
Brighton's Facundo Buonanotte managed to pull one back just before half-time, showcasing skill by smashing the ball past goalkeeper Robert Sanchez.
However, Chelsea faced a setback as captain Conor Gallagher received his second yellow card, resulting in a red card before halftime. Despite the numerical disadvantage, Fernandez demonstrated his prowess, securing his second goal from the penalty spot after James Milner fouled Mykhailo Mudryk inside the box.
