Former Tottenham Goalkeeper Joins LAFC
Former Tottenham Hotspur goalkeeper, Hugo Lloris, has officially touched down in Los Angeles after completing his transfer to the 2022 MLS champions in December. The 361-appearance veteran expressed his enthusiasm about playing in the United States in a video shared by the club on Monday.
After an impressive stint of 11 and a half years with Tottenham, Lloris bid farewell, making his final appearance on April 23, 2023, during a challenging match against Newcastle where he was subbed off at halftime in a 6-1 defeat.
Joining LAFC, Lloris, set to earn a reported $350,000, appeared in high spirits, showcasing his excitement with a black and gold LAFC scarf draped off his shoulder. The move marks a significant transition in the goalkeeper's illustrious career, bringing his talents to the thriving MLS scene.
