Ian Maatsen joins Borussia Dortmund on a six month loan deal from Chelsea

Chelsea youngster Ian Maatsen have completed his move to Borussia Dortmund until the end of the season.

The young winger hasn't been able to break into the Chelsea team under Mauricio Pochettino which has made him move out on loan for more playing time and experience 

It's been gathered that Ian Maatsen joins Borussia Dortmund on loan deal until June 2024

Meanwhile Maatsen extended his contract at Chelsea ahead of loan deal until June 2027 with release clause included. He will wear shirt no 22. 

Earlier in the day, Borussia Dortmund confirmed the signing of Jadon Sancho as well. 

The English international who has been frozen out of the Manchester United side habe returned to Dortmund for a season loan.
