Lagos-based lady, Deborah Olaki, known as Mummy Zee, has taken her followers on a transformative journey, showcasing her newly furnished apartment after leveraging social media to change her life.
In a recent Friday post on microblogging site X (formerly Twitter), Mummy Zee shared her daily routine of waking up at 4:50 a.m. to cook for her husband, a revelation that stirred both criticism and praise from netizens.
Responding to Ms Mashida's post about a woman waking up at 5:00 a.m. daily to prepare lunch for her husband, Mummy Zee revealed that this was not a new practice for her, emphasizing that she had been doing it for months. The motivation behind this early routine stemmed from her husband's mention of having lunch with a work colleague, prompting her to overcome her laziness and set her alarm for 4.50 am.
Mummy Zee's tweet about this adjustment went viral, where she candidly shared, "I’ve always been too lazy to wake up and get his lunch ready. But the day he told me a colleague brought two spoons so he’ll eat with her was the day I set my alarm for 4.50 am."
However, not everyone applauded her dedication. Some social media users criticized Olaki, labeling her as 'insecure' for thinking that waking up early to cook for a man would ensure his fidelity.
Undeterred, Mummy Zee continued her commitment and, earlier today, delighted her followers by sharing images of her newly acquired apartment, complete with exquisite fittings and furniture.
She wrote: "Current view , my life has really changed 😭🙏❤, got a beautiful house , got to be a landlady. I really deserve your retweet claim your Grace too "
Meanwhile her husband Daddy Zee also posted his appreciation of their new home on his Twitter timeline as well
This visual testament to her journey from the early morning kitchen to a luxurious lifestyle showcases Mummy Zee's resilience and determination to turn scarcity into sufficiency.
