Pep Ljinders, Liverpool's assistant manager, has confirmed that Alisson Becker, Trent Alexander-Arnold, and Curtis Jones will be unavailable for their upcoming Carabao Cup match against Chelsea.

The Reds, eager to secure their first trophy of the season and potentially Jurgen Klopp's last before his tenure ends, face a significant setback as key players remain sidelined.

According to Ljinders, Alexander-Arnold and goalkeeper Alisson will be sidelined until after the international break in March.

In a statement to the media, Ljinders stated, "Alisson, Alexander-Arnold, and Curtis Jones are expected to be out until after the March international break."

Despite the absence of these pivotal players, Liverpool may find solace as Szoboszlai, Nunez, and Salah are slated to undergo late fitness tests.

Notably, both Salah and Nunez showcased their scoring prowess in Liverpool's recent 4-1 victory over Luton Town, providing a glimmer of hope for their potential participation in the final.

However, uncertainties loom over the fitness of these players, with Ljinders remarking, "Szoboszlai, Nunez, and Salah for the final? We have to really see. We have two more days; we will check."
