The Red Devils, coming off consecutive victories, are primed to visit Villa Park with hopes of narrowing the gap on the Champions League qualification spots.

Lisandro Martinez's absence has extended to two months following his injury during the win over West Ham. Initially, there were concerns about a more prolonged recovery period, given the nature of his knee problem. Martinez had recently reclaimed his spot in the starting lineup following a lengthy spell on the sidelines due to a foot injury.

Tyrell Malacia, nursing a knee issue, and Mason Mount, a regular for the England national team, sidelined with a calf problem, continue their rehabilitation efforts.

Meanwhile, Anthony Martial has undergone groin surgery, ruling him out until at least April, with speculation swirling that his time at the club might be drawing to a close.

Aaron Wan-Bissaka, who was anticipated to be nearing a return ahead of the Villa clash, has encountered a setback in his recovery journey, as confirmed by manager Ten Hag during his pre-match press conference.
