Mauricio Pochettino Shares Todd Boehly's Response to Chelsea's Defeat
Mauricio Pochettino has revealed the content of a text message he received from Chelsea owner Todd Boehly following the team's humiliating loss to Wolves over the weekend.
In their recent Premier League clash at Stamford Bridge, Chelsea experienced a disheartening 4-2 defeat against Wolves, marking their second consecutive loss after a previous setback against Liverpool.
Despite facing speculation about a potential dismissal, Pochettino asserted during his pre-match press conference that he maintains a positive relationship with Chelsea owner Todd Boehly. The former Tottenham coach emphasized that they are collaborating through the challenges at Stamford Bridge.
Pochettino conveyed, "I didn't hear nothing. In another way, I received a very good text from them. We are all together in this. That is the most important. They are in contact with him and the sporting directors every day."
Amidst speculations that Pochettino's position at Chelsea might be in jeopardy by the end of the season if the team fails to secure a spot in European competitions, the manager could potentially secure his first piece of silverware as Chelsea prepares to face Liverpool in the League Cup final.
