Dani Alves, who had been convicted of rape stemming from an incident at a Barcelona nightclub, successfully appealed his four-and-a-half-year prison sentence earlier this month. Subsequently, he was released on bail last week.
The Spanish television program "Fiesta," aired on Telecinco, disclosed that Joana Sanz visited Alves at his Barcelona home shortly after his release from prison.
Alves, aged 40, exited Brians 2 Prison on Monday, having served only four weeks of his sentence. He managed to meet the €1 million (£850,000) bail requirement, allowing for his release.
Reports indicate that Alves marked his initial moments of freedom with a lavish, all-night celebration at his £4.5 million mansion, which he still co-owns with Joana.
