Karimot, the sister of the late singer Mohbad's wife, has issued a heartfelt plea to the Ministry of Women Affairs and the Lagos Government, urging them to safeguard Omowunmi, the widow of Mohbad.
In a poignant video shared online, Karimot expressed her distress over the relentless cyberbullying targeted at Liam, Omowunmi's son, on various social media platforms. She implored the authorities to intervene and provide assistance to her sister, emphasizing their lack of support and the unjustifiable nature of the online harassment towards Liam.
Karimot appealed to the trolls to refrain from their malicious activities and urged them to await the legal proceedings concerning Wunmi's involvement in her husband's death before passing judgment. She disclosed that Omowunmi has withdrawn from communication channels, deeply concerned about ensuring her sister's safety and well-being.
She emphasized, "Some People were curs!ng Liam online today. I am calling on The wife of The Lagos State Governor and The Ministry of Women Affairs to come to our aid. We have nobody. Enough of the bulying and cuse on Liam. What is his offense? Nothing must happen to Omowunmi. At least let the judge declare her guilty of her husband’s demise. She is no longer picking up calls. Nothing must happen to her before daybreak".
