Actress Chioma Chukwuka Condemns AMVCA's 'Disrespectful' Behavior Towards Industry Veterans

Nollywood star Chioma Chukwuka slams Africa Magic Viewers Choice Awards organizers over "disrespectful" ticket collection request.

Actress Chioma Chukwuka has expressed her outrage and disappointment with the organizers of the Africa Magic Viewers Choice Awards (AMVCA) over what she considers a disrespectful gesture.

According to Chioma, a representative from AMVCA called her to come to their office to collect her ticket for the event, which is scheduled for Saturday. She felt disrespected by this request and ended the call. However, the representative called back, but Chioma didn't answer due to her upset and her attention being needed on her production set.

Taking to Instagram, Chioma vented her frustration, writing, "I am APPALLED by the DISRESPECT and total DISREGARD by @africamagic for industry practitioners! THE NERVE! I, CHIOMA CHUKWUKA, with over 25 YEARS of HARDWORK and DEDICATION to Nollywood... My Invite is ready for pick up?! What an absolute shame!"

Chioma's outburst highlights the perceived disrespect and lack of consideration shown by AMVCA towards industry professionals like herself, who have contributed significantly to the growth of Nollywood.
