"Tottenham's Foundations 'Really Fragile', Says Postecoglou After Their Defeat To Man City

Tottenham Hotspur's manager, Ange Postecoglou, has claimed that the club's foundations are fragile following their defeat to Manchester City.

The defeat marked the end of Tottenham's hopes of finishing in the top four and qualifying for the Champions League.

The team's loss was attributed to Erling Haaland's two goals.

Postecoglou expressed his disappointment, stating: "Unfortunately in the last 48 hours, I saw that the foundations are really fragile." "It's inside the club, outside the club."

These words suggest that the issues go beyond just the team's performance on the pitch and are indicative of deeper problems within the club.

Postecoglou's comments were in reference to the debate among fans, who were conflicted about the team's priorities, with some wanting to lose to hinder Arsenal's title chances. Postecoglou emphasized his focus on building a winning team and his disinterest in external opinions. The defeat leaves Tottenham five points behind fourth-placed Aston Villa, securing European football for the latter.
